Did anybody actualy finished the Floral Finesse? How does it look? Is it as
bright as on the picture? How long did it take to finish? I am thinking of
doing it for my bedroom, but have two concerns - first - it will take a few
years to do, second - on the picture it looks very, very bright - too bright.
Is there any other charts for a classic flower arrangements (no Flower Power,
too countrish for me). I know that on the chart there are several mistakes.
Is there a website or other listing of theses mistakes?

Thanks!!!

Vera

Hi Vera,

I haven't finished Floral Finesse, but I started it last spring and worked
about 3 months on it before I set it aside to work on other things (needed
to see faster progress on something!). In that time I finished section D
and started section I with some encroachments into section E if needed to
finish out a block of color. I guess it will take forever, but someday I
will be thrilled with the results.

A friend of mine is working on Floral Finesse and it is gorgeous! She is
presently working on the urn and has a few flowers left. It has been a lot of
work but worth it.

A week ago at a retreat sponsored by a local shop, Maureen Appleton taught
classes. She saw my friend's Floral Finesse piece and was very impressed.
Apparently she has not seen too many completed!

I have this in my stash and I am thinking about making it my next big project.
I'm almost done with Flower Power and will probably spend the rest of this year
doing smaller projects and finishing up some other things I've started and then
maybe start Floral Finesse early 2001. Does anybody know if there is a support
group out there for this piece?
