Could someone who's good with colors help me please?

I just downloaded a chart of pikachu from one of the freebee sites -- they
show the colors for him as "lemon" for the yellow and "red" for the red
areas. What DMC colors would you recommend?

I'd like to do him (her?) for my little niece for Christmas, and I'd like to
get as close as possible to the "real" colors.

Thanks in advance.

Personally I'd use:

His Yellow: DMC #727
His Red: DMC #349

307, 310, and 817 are the colors called for in the one I just found and

HI,
I have been working on this one! The chart call for 310, 307, 817 and
white. I looked at my DS Pikachu and changed the 817 to 892 it was a closer
match. Hope this helps.

My DS is stitching that. I picked out DMC 444 for the yellow and 347
for the red. Lots of choices.
