Does anyone have information about cross-point? I just picked up Jill
Oxon's current issue, and she has a delightful fire lizard from Pern
that I'd like to make for DD. But I was thinking about trying to make it
into a cross-point pillow rather than another thing to hang on the
walls, which are rather full already!

Any hints appreciated. What kind of thread? Color conversions? Etc. Am I
right in thinking it's just doing cross-stitch on canvas?

BRILLIANT! Thank you for the information. It's been really helpful. I
think I'll try a small kit first to get the hang of it, then see about
