I have been looking for some cute ferret cross stitch patterns -- found
Morgan Designs but was looking further (a different type).
Also, has anyone else tried having someone make a pattern from a photo with
a type of computer software? Did it turn out OK in a finished product?
Thanks in advance,
Pam
Have you already done keyword searches
for ferrets? I rarely have any difficulty
finding charts through Hoffman Distributing,
and I hear Barb's Index is very good too:
http://www.hoffmandis.com/choice.cfm
http://www.barbsindex.com
I scanned a head shot of one of my lovely Yorkies
sitting amidst a sea of clover and pink cosmos.
(Used a downloaded demo version of Patternmaker.)
The results were stunning, but I have not actually
stitched it yet. I think the fine-tuning, adding 1/4
stitches, refining the color palette, etc., is too daunting
for me; but in the hands of a professional, well, that
ought to produce a very nice chart. Just be sure you
start with a picture you love.
Best of luck.

Try it again, Angela--that is the correct URL.
