OT: 2 gallon storage Zip Lock Bags

I could not locate the 2 gallon bags in Walmart yesterday, but I did find they
carry a 2 1/2 gallon zipper lock storage bag by Hefty and they are a wonderful
size for your stitching. I am working on a 12 X 12 canvas and everything packs
perfectally in this size.

I erased all my newsgroup mail this morning, and this afternoon fopuind the
2 gall ziplock bags in my grocery store. There are 10 in a box.

I remember someone in Canada was loking for them, and I would be happy to
send you a box or two, if you will email me privately!

On the same note, I emailed the Ziploc Gurus yesterday and got a very
nice email today telling me that the Schnuck's down the street has
them. I may have to go there more - stuff is a little higher priced
there, but they were the only place in town that got the JCS ornament
issue, as well. To think - all this great stash stuff at a grocery

I have been using the Hefty One Zip 2-1/2 gallon storage/Freezer bags for over
a year now and just love them. The bags are 14 3/8" wide x 16" tall. And I
love the slide lock. Much easier to open and close than the zip lock style. I
even use the smaller size slide lock bags for keeping my floss together for a
project. I'm not particular to any 1 brand over another. Other than Hefty is
the only brand I have found to have the 2 1/2 gal. size.

I'm not particular either. I haven't seen the Hefty bags here. I
wrote to Ziploc and they sent me the address of the only store in town
that carries them. This is no little town, there are 2 million people
here!
