After weeks of too much work, too much family, and too many headaches, I
was able to sit an relax and stitch last night...two lovely hours of
stitching on TW's Noah's Ark while watching/listening to a wonderful A&E
Biography Special on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

BLISS!!!

;-)

Happy Monday, everyone.

Pat

Hi, from another Pat who is also doing TW's Noah's Ark, although so
far I have only done the alphabet and the blue borders (no time!)

Happy stitching,

Patricia

I hear you, Patricia!!

I actually stitched the alphabet in the Pittsburgh and St. Louis airports
while waiting for business flights, and have finished the cross-stitching on
the ark image. Have done four over-one animals (darn near gone _blind_!!!),
and am loving this piece. I find it a challenge because I've never done work
over-one before, and it's great fun. Definitely a piece to be done with
excellent light, however.

;-)

In stitches,
Pat

Just a quick message to all of you who are working on TW's Noah's Ark:

A visitor to our EGA chapter brought her finished and framed Noah's Ark to
our meeting last Saturday. It was nothing short of spectacular!

So if you haven't seen a stitched model "in person," I can assure you that
it is worth every stitch you take, even those little "over 1" stitches on
all the animals!

Keep on stitchin'

This is great to hear! I've just decided on two new projects to
start, and Noah's Ark is the bigger one of them. I think it will go
in my daughter's room -- she's liking the animals very much.
