The other thing I wanted to mention was about online newsgroups. Have
you ever read them? I've been wasting too much time on them, but some
of the messages are so funny or interesting! I've subscribed to about
20 newsgroups, but obviously I should restrict myself to one or two, as
there's no way to keep up!!!
Cheers, Bev

I didn't have any local friends who stitched either, until I found a lady on rctn
who just happened to volunteer at another branch of the same library system I
work for. She had recently joined the local EGA & "enticed" me to join once I
began getting alternate Saturdays off. Now I have "lots" of stitching friends
that I never would have found if not for rctn. I've also met Sandy "the norse
hedgehog", who lives 23 miles in the other direction. We've met only once in
person since our schedules are so different, but she is also a local stitching
friend I would not have found if not for r.c.t.n. :-)))

Richard (who only reads one newsgroup because I want to stitch)
