I know that you all will be able to help me out with this. I'm
working on one of the Vermilion Stitchery's International Bears for a
friend of mine and cannot get DMC 3841 locally. In other times, I
would order this and wait for it. Because of heightened security
measures where I live, though, the mail will not get through with any
sort of regularity any time soon.

Can you look in your stashes and tell me what kind of blue this is?
Is it a blue-y blue? Green-y blue? Purple-y blue?

Thanks so much and take care of each other,

It's a light blue-y blue. According to DMC's color card, it is between 775 and
3325.

If you work with graphics, there's a website with DMCs RGB values:

Plus I'm in the midst of making a site with color swatches. I haven't gotten
that far, so I put this up here.

hope it helps.

Kathy & Lorette,

Thank you very much! Kathy, the colors you pointed out to me are both
in this project so I may tweed them and see how it goes. And Lorette,
having the color up on the screen helped me a lot. I really
appreciate your work.

For anyone who might run into this thread looking for substitution for DMC 3841 or any other DMC substitution:
Try: https://cs-pattern.com/dscp.php?substitute=3841
Notice the substitute parameter at end of link.
It'll show you the Chosen color and other matching close to it.
If you're not happy with the solid colors shown, you can try blend 50/50 to get even closer.
I just wrote this substitute tool like a couple days ago and I am excited to share for those who might find it useful.
