This is my first post to this group but couldn't resist responding to the
question about an LNS in Williamsburg, VA. I just moved to Yorktown, VA
from Colorado and found the shop that Karen Thompson and Lladnit were
talking about. The shop's name is Haus Tirol (The Stitching Well). They
are open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday and are closed on
holidays. They are located in the Village Shops at Kingsmill right on
Highway 60. Their phone number is 220-0313.

Not quite Williamsburg, but I can think of two, maybe three, shops that were
in Gloucester, VA last time I was there, a couple of years back. You might
like to explore. One was on the main street going through old Gloucester, on
the right, in the same strip mall as a hardware store.. I think it was
called "The Spinning Wheel. Stuff was piled high in every square inch of the
place; the other was adjacent to a private home, on the loop road coming out
of Gloucester back to Rte 17. A very nice place.
