My wife is interested in any information on silk painting. She has been
doing a lot of ties, pillows and scarves lately and would like to expand
her interests.

opinion, are the two that ______Moyers has written. (I cannot remember
the first name.) THe first one is "THe Artist's guide to gutta resist"
(at least I think I got close to the title.) THe second one is fairly
new and discusses dyeing as it relates to surface design. The books are
about $25 and are incredible beautiful.

email me if you have a problem finding them, and I could mail them to
you, but you really shouldn't have a problem.

I think her name is Susan Moyers, but I'm operating from memory
too. The books are gorgeous, and inspirational.

A good resource for all kinds of silk painting books,
supplies, ideas, and information is the Dharma Trading Co.
catalog. Dharma Trading is located in San Rafael, CA,
and you can order a catalog by calling their 800 number:
(800)345-2026. I found both Moyers' (there may be
three, actually, because _The Artist's Guide to Gutta Resist_
isn't the title of either of the two I have) at my local
Barnes & Noble book store, though, so you may not need to go
to mail order.

BTW, usual disclaimer, I do not work for Dharma Trading Co.,
I've just been pleased with them as a supplier, etc., & co.,
yadda yadda.
