But I'm having buyers remorse in advance! This is why I don't have ANY
diecutting machine - I never really know whether it's worth the
investment and whether I'll use it enough and so on.
I never do large projects, and I almost never scrap any more. I make
TONS of greeting cards and I want to use the Cricut for that... I
don't think I really NEED the Expression and I can't possibly afford
it anyway.
What else do you need besides the machine? What's the bare minimum
number of cartridges you can get away with for general use?

BTW, if you don't buy the cartridges until after they have been out a little
while you will be able to buy them for $25 - $30.
The cartridges I use the most are Paper Doll Dress Up, Doodlecharms, and
Storybook.
I only have a few cartridges but could go crazy for many.
I have the jukebox as well and that too is a lifesaver as well as
Design studio.
If you can get one, you'll be happy.
