I just got from my wonderful grandma and her boyfriend (wait, she says
"gentleman friend") a great set of 60 watercolor pencils. I really wanted a set
and must have mentioned it infront of them... anyway, I wanted to know any
advice people had for me. Should I read up on it or just play around a bit?
I've been working on paper peicings more and more... I will take any advice on
it. Thanks in advance!

Cool 60 colors sounds like a great gift :) My best suggestion, play with
them.. use them as regular colors and then apply wet brush.. use them wet
(dip them in a bit of water) and draw.. or make a colored solution like
regular watercolors.. the pencils are so versatile, and you can use them for
almost anything. :)

Tara,
I really like my watercolor pencils and have used them a lot. They
are really good for coloring stamped ,embossed
embellishments. Did you get a blender pen with them or a watercolor
brush?
I like the blender best. I like the soft, watercolor look. I generally
stamp something ,color it and ether tear it or cut it and use it in my
layouts. Very effective for Heritage pages.
