Ok ladies and gents... The clean sweep of the crafting room is
complete! Thanks in great part to my dh for helping me to get it all
done and catalogued while still trying to work on my down (still) main
computer... Since my main email is still down, dh has set up a
temporary email address JUST for this particular event, the giving
away of my clean sweep stuff, so that I can make sure to get all of
your emails and not miss anyone. So, here's how it's gonna work.
I've listed below all the items that are up for grabs. I am asking
only that you pay for shipping and handling on the items you want.
You can choose how you'd like to have them shipped to you from either
UPS or USPS and can also choose whether you want the optional things
like insurance, tracking and delivery confirmation... etc. Basically
I just want to get rid of the stuff and don't want it to cost me
anything to do it :) So, take a look at the list below and make a
list of what you'd like to have. I, unfortunately right now, don't
have a working scanner, nor a digital camera, so I'll do my best to
describe things if you've got questions, but can't really post
pictures or anything. If you've got questions about an item's
description or use, or whatever, best to ask here on the list as
others may have the same question and I'll be monitoring here for the
next few hours while we're working on the house and such, so I'll try
and answer quickly. I will give these items away on a first come
first served basis, so don't wait too long to send in your wish list.
My other request is this... Please don't ask me cut up items such as
fabric or yarn or such or to divide "packages" of items. This just
makes things harder on me and I really just want to get the stuff out
of my house :) So, if you're ready.... When you've finished checking
the list, send your wishes to:

sweep@jadis . darktech . org

Clean sweep inventory:

Cross Stitch: Ok... The cross stitch stuff is so jumbled and confused
and there is such an amount of it as to the fact that I just don't
have the time to catalog it all... there are at least three kits in
this bag of tricks and several dozen skeins of dmc thread as well as
some unused fabric, hoops, etc. I just don't have the time to sort it
all. SO... if anyone is brave enough to want to try your hand at
sorting and hoping for the best, it's yours for the asking (and
shipping and handling costs) As for everything else, it's quite a
list... When we finished the sweep, here's what we ended up hauling
out of that room that's yours for the asking (and s&h)

Hi Esther,

Not so far... the email address is sw...@jadis.darktech.org but I've
been trying to keep the spammers away although since this email will
go away when this is over I guess it doesn't matter! :) So, you can
try again if you like...

I'm going to have to close my eyes and pretend I never saw this post. I'm
already having a craft-storage issues. :-) I think I would be in hot water
with DH if I brought home more. LOL

Hey CC...a lot of those smaller craft items might not be worth the cost of
postage, but I'm sure you could easily drop them off at any child care
center. I know ours would be happy to take in lots of that stuff!
Just an idea for the things that don't get taken.

Hehe. I think my dh is in shock that I actually had that much stuff
to begin with... We have 4 huge moving boxes just of that stuff...
plus we hauled out 10 bags of trash, and took 2 carloads (small volvo
sized, but still) of Goodwill stuff and have more still to go through
in the office and our bedroom. And keep in mind that this is just a
12x12 room with 2 walk-in closets that are 4x4... hehe... can you
picture! We really should have called in Clean Sweep! If only they
were doing places other than just Southern California! Of course, the
biggest problem is that I married a pack rat and I'm a pack rat... For
dh it wasn't a big deal before because he's a military brat and every
couple of years they'd move and HAVE to get rid of stuff, but now he's
been with me for going on 10 years and hasn't had to get rid of
anything... until now! We finally decided, it's got to go! I'm
sweeping out the cobwebs and making room for whatever God's gonna send
my way next. :)

Thanks Lori. That is a good idea. I'll see what's left and find a
good home for it :)
