It should be in the scrapbook aisle or if you shop AC Moore try the
higher end paint section.

It is also important to note that most art supplies are archival. Especially
with the modern stuff. If paintings made 200 years ago with lead based paint
and still around then they can't be too bad, especially when you factor in
modern chemical technology.
This is why I use high grade art paper to print on. You can get a wide range
of finishes and they are all archival. But, you need to get a good artists
brand and not something like Crayola. Art supplies stores are great for this
and the paper is cheaper than most of the brand specific paper. It also
comes in great sizes. I like 11x14 and I can get nice frames for about $2.50
a piece for this size on sale at Walgreen's.

I have been experimenting with using different acrylic paints on
cardstock for a while and I find that it is worth investing in the
Making Memories paints.
Making Memories acrylic paints work the better on cardstock (or paper)
because they contain 30% less water than most acrylic paints, including
various art and crafts paints. That means that the paper wrinkles less
and also it takes a shorter time to dry. If you paint a reasonably
thin layer, it can be dry within an hour - with other paints, I would
leave it to dry overnight. Also the consistency of the MM paints is
easy to work with.
Good luck with using paints! It is great fun, I use them all the time
and paint just about anything!
