Hello RJ,

Your watercolour picture is so good! I always think that watercolour
is such a difficult thing to do so but you did a great job.

I guess mine are more like watercolor crayons. I use them exactly like I
would regular water colors. I wet my brush drag it along the color I want
and go.

Hello Lynne,

I use watercolour pencils quite often for colouring in small areas such
as cards (stamps, outline stickers etc.). They are very easy and quick
to use and are one of my favourite arty/crafty "tool" for me! They are
like regular pencils but then you take a small brush with water and
spread it over the coloured-in area. It then looks as if you have
painted the area but the effect is easier and quicker to achieve. You
can also blend colours easily like this.

I used them here, at the bottom of the page (I hope you can see it):

Ooooo....I like Wilbur! You did a great job with the watercolors. I've
used watercolor pencils, and now watercolor crayons, but that's as far as
I've gotten. LOL I couldn't draw anything if I had to!

RJ, you are so critical of yourself! I think it is great! (It is as the
ole saying goes - We are our own worst critic!)

I ave to say I have learned something wonderful from this tread. I have
seen those watercolor pencils but thought they were something like chalk
ones, kinda lackluster, Well I may have to get some to add to y
collection too!!

Well right now he is sitting here staring at me... I think I'm going to hold
on to him and repaint him to see if I can do better... I had requests from 2
friends already for copies...and I think it would be good practice so
possibly I'll make one or two more... but I like him... I might hang him in
my guest room. He is really cute. I love giraffes. :)

If you get watercolor pencils, I highly recommend getting a water brush...
it holds water IN the brush... and makes it more portable... not really
useful for real watercoloring but works great with the pencils... ;)

I know Marco's paper has them... you can get them online on their store...
if its not on the site call them and they can take care of you... I prefer
the other brand though and you can get them here too... (these are the best
in my opinion)...
