I would like to make my own handmade books using rubber stamps and mixed
media....anyone out there does this? What books or magazine articles do you
recommend for reference? If possible, could you send me a sample and detailed
instructions by e-mail?

thanks

I recommend Somerset Studios magazine -- they do a lot of book stuff like that.

Where is the best/cheapest place to subscribe to Somerset
Studios magazine? I've heard so much about it..

Thanks for any help.

I highly recommend either Cover to Cover by Shereen LaPlantz, or Handmade Books
and Cards by Jean G. Kropper. They DO have detailed, illustrated instructions.
They are for beginners, but that's all you need. Once you know how to put the
book together, you can make it as fancy as you like. Somerset Studio is nice
for inspiration but you'll never learn to make a book from them.
