Hi all,

I'm having trouble making backgrounds with watercolor
pencils. They *look* just how I want, but the paper
always gets warped, no matter how little water I use. :-(

I tried adding the water with a damp cosmetic sponge,
a damp brush, etc. I'm using normal cardstock.
Any ideas? Or any other ways to make a sky as a
background without warping the card?

Thanks bunches!!!!!!
Lisa

Have you tried using a blender pen instead of water? They seem to work drier
and this might improve the look. :)

Hi Lisa:

Even watercolor stock warps. I use art craft tissue on coated stock for
various colors. The card warps, but I wait until it dries and then put
it near the last pages of my telephone book. After about 24-36 hours
the card is usually flat.
