Is everyone still shell-shocked from Ravensdale?

Sorry! I guess I've gotten lazy. I'm on the polymer clay interest list and it's
so easy to get caught up in that that I've grown lazy about posting here. Also,
with school back in session, I've been busy trying to help my son get used to
first grade.

Maybe we're all busy making beads to sell for the holidays
over on Justbeads? <g> There seems to be a corresponding
increase in familiar names over there every time the traffic
gets low here...!

Summer happened! Today, it's cold. It's snowing. I want the clay oven on,
and I want to chat with clay friends on the internet. (I might even bake
something besides clay!!) Just a week ago, I was walking the dog, picking
tomatoes, the windows were all open, and I didn't want any ovens heating up
the place.

I think clay talk, like baking ovens, tends to be seasonal. Is for me, anyway.

Speaking of which...has anyone tried to make a bead roller for 3-4mm
beads? I've been kicking around the idea of using brass hobby tubing,
but am not sure it's worth the time right now. I'd love something to
help speed up getting perfectly round doll eyes.

*This* month? Uh oh...]

I suppose we'll loose you too to that list! Well here it is anyway:
http://www.egroups.com then you have to subscribe (free) to the list/s that
interest you. The pc related ones are clay-polymer, ClayinAround, UKPolyClay
and Polymerclayinterest. The last one is where most the pc'ers hang out!

pc -related ones....and I am on one of them....I must be looking at the
wrong page/site/whatever.....can someone show me where the list of sites
are so I can subscribe to them too?

Thanks a bunch!

I have tried to subscribe to the Polymer clay interest on egroups before
Ravensdale, (sometime in July I think), but even as of today, when I try to
sign on I get a message that my membership has not been approved...whats up
with that? Did I make someone mad or something?

I think alot of folks right now are getting busy due to the season...I have
shows coming up and am working my tail off!!!
