Hi,

I'm interested in some abstract designs for face painting. Does anyone
have any? I've check with the library and bookstores and can only find
the typical children's type. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Check on books of M.C. Eshers work. They are optical illusions which
may give you some ideas of abstract design.

The Kryolan makeup company used to have some books, but I'm sure they're
out of print now....the two best ones were by a Swiss artist. they may
still have a european makeup book by assorted artists...ask if they still
carry the book with the red shoes on the cover....it was really two naked
bodies, standing together, painted to look like red high heels....

Most of the stuff available is for kids.

They're address is:

Kryolan Corporation
132 Ninth Street
San Francisco, CA 94103

1-800-866-1329

I teach fantasy makeup, and am doing a workshop in Minneapolis the first
week of august...
If I can answer any questions for you, I'll try to help.
