I`ve found that if you want a permanent paint you`ll need to use a solvent-
based glass paint (such as pebeo vitrail or lefranc & bourgeous vitrail), if
you wish to be able to scrub off if you make a mistake (such as marabu`s decor
glass) or if you want a peeable one (gallery glass - there are also some t-
shirt paints that can be used like that). (These are all available in UK.)
Having done hundreds of hours of glass painting and even taught it I can say
the main thing is to pick a simple design on something flat to begin with.

Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself;
but talent instantly recognizes Genius...

I bought a book, leading paint, and four other colors for about $20.00 US.
A lot cheaper than stain glass. Walmart sells a video for $5 that a
neighbor bought. We watched it and they explain in detail the process.
Sounds simple enough.
Leading color comes in silver (dark) and gold leading. Colors of paint
range from clear, frost to about 25 different and fun colors! Color kits
were available from walmart for $9.00 US. They included 5 paints plus a 2
oz bottle of leading.
