We used to use milk for 'invisible' ink.
Use it on a piece of paper, then warm it
over a heat source (not close enough/long
enough to burn the paper). We'd send
'secret' messages.

I was told by my pastel drawing instructor that you can use skim milk to
fix pastel drawings. I asked about the milk going sour on the drawing, and
she claimed that it wasn't a problem.

I have never tried it myself.
