They are discussing two newly found planet-like objects:
"How hot? Try 26,000 degrees Fahrenheit. That's hot enough to melt lead

You can't make this stuff up.
Idiocy is a pre-requisite for being in the media. That, and some degree of
pathology.
Almost without exception.

Wall Street Journal, where wingers go to get their science!
Like the Pat Michaels WSJ global-warming editorial a few weeks ago, to which
the wingers piled on. Michaels has a fine resume, too, and an interesting
list of contributors and supporters:
The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers
The Western Fuels Association
North Carolina Coal Institute
Pacific Research Institute (an industry front)
Kentucky Coal Operators Association
AMAX Energy Corporation
Consolidation Coal Corporation
Cincinnati Gas and Electric
The National Aerosol Association
Massie Coal Corporation
Indiana Coal Mining Institute
Arizona Electric Power Cooperative
Virginia Petroleum Council
Alabama Electric Power Cooperative
World Coal Conference
American Mining Congress
A fine, unbiased group, with no conflicting interests to get in the way,
unlike all of those academics who are fighting for tenure. d8-)

We can't explain our own Sun. which is 5500 - 6000C at the surface and
millions of degrees further out:

And, it's interesting that the Earth's mantle is millions of degrees.
The Earth's mantle peaks at around 4000C. Were you the consultant for that
article, by any chance?

Sorry, forgot the "proof". I'm sure there are libtards out there that need
it from a credible source and who is more credible than Al Gore?

I just love how the people who jump on every mis-statement and gaffe

Of the 35 items that Snopes currently has on Al Gore, none are about this...
But I did leave a note with them asking about it...

to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour...

SNOPES??? You mean the ultra-libtard website owned by uber-liberals David

all-that-is-libtardad? That Snopes?
I'm so sorry, I know it was too difficult for you to follow links to
webpages so I cut/past a couple of them here for you. Let me know if any of
the words are too big, I'll find a libtard with a Ph.D. to explain them to
you. Of course NBC blocked the vid, it shows Gore as the stupid liar he is.
And, by association....
Science According to Al Gore: Earth Interior “Millions of Degrees”
a..
Kurt NimmoInfowars
December 10, 2009
Not only did Al Gore invent the internet, he has also redefined earth
science. The puffed up prophet of the phony climate change movement went on
the Conan O’Brien Show in mid-November and told the world the temperature of
the interior of the earth is “millions of degrees.” O’Brien didn’t flinch.
In fact, the Inner Mantle of the earth is 5400 ºF (3000ºC) and the Outer
Mantle is 2520 ºF (1400ºC) and 5400 º F (3000ºC). The Core of the earth is
between 9032 – 10832 ºF (5000-6000 ºC).
This is an estimation. Nobody knows the exact temperature of the earth’s
interior. The estimate of the temperature is derived from theoretical
modeling and laboratory experiments, but no scientist believes the
temperature is anywhere near a million degrees.
The above video demonstrates that Al Gore is a carnival huckster for the
globalist movement peddling junk science and has no idea what he is talking
about.
Gore has no clue – a few million degrees here and there and pretty soon we’re
talking about real temperature
16

2009
This is mind blowing ignorance on the part of Al Gore. Gore in an 11/12/09
interview on NBC’s tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, speaking on geothermal
energy, champion of slide show science, can’t even get the temperature of
earth’s mantle right, claiming “several million degrees” at “2 kilometers or
so down”. Oh, and the “crust of the earth is hot” too.
So, you admit that the whole "Global Warming" scam is just a gaffe made up
by the left. Good for you!

whenever a discussion pops up about the earth's core i post a link to a
webpage of a guy who says there's a 3km ball of fissionable material at the
center of the earth. i love that concept. wondering if you guys are aware
of this (wacko) guy.

You are losing it Tawm... facts and reality do not have a political
agenda. You hate Snopes because they routinely point out the idiocies
of right wing political screed e-mails. You might not be aware that
they often de-bunked stuff that was supposed to be about GWB's more
absurd actions... See:

Hardly the behaviour of radical lefties.
but hey Tawm, the truth has never stopped you before, so you just keep
saying whatever thought wanders into that empty little head of yours.
Sorry, Steve, the link didn't work...
It does seem interesting that NBC is blocking the video on YouTube.
That actually bothers me a bit.
Why would they do that?
Some of the networks are getting pissed about having their "content" ripped
off for nothing. Expect more such battles in the future.

Maybe, Ed, and then again, maybe not.
I think it's interesting that they squashed the videos, and don't have an
archive of it themselves. That's real close to revisionism.
They also wouldn't present John Coleman.
But they did offer this link to that interview...
How strange...
John Coleman founded the Weather Channel.
This is his interview re: Al Gore and Climategate.

Well, the significant part of that episode seems to be missing on Hulu.
Also, Hulu response time, sync, and menus suck bit time.
'Can't help with that one. My wife seems to like it, though.

They say "Brand Protection" and "Intellectual Property" but the
real reason is: they are true believers, and party stalwarts. That
which does not fit the narrative, is un-news.

I could *read* them just fine.
I could NOT play the videos.
I wanted to see what was really said.
Not what someone said was said.
