You need to know a little more than just the basic numbers. George Bush
didn't issue a single veto in the first six years of his presidency,
which is unheard of in the modern era. After that he issued a lot, not
coincidentally that was when he lost the republican majority in
congress. He vetoed everything the Democratic congress voted to do. He
also had enough republicans to sustain his vetoes. That means even
though the majority in congress was Democratic because of the
republicans president and congressional minority they majority was
stymied. But that fact doesn't change the other fact that the policies
Bush implemented can't be fixed over night or even in one year. The
fallout from bad policies can take years or even decades to repair.
Which is what is happening now. Most people know that too. I just saw a
poll on TV minutes ago that fixed blame on our economic problems. Only
7% blame Obama but 31% blame Bush and 23% blame Wall Street. So most
people do think Bush is to blame. This time their right.

How come you can't admit the truth? You want the republicans back in
charge just like they did for the last eight years before Obama took

I can't wait to hear what you say when Obama gets health care reform

Blaming Obama for the same actions as Bush, McCain, Germany, England,
China, Russia, France, Belgium, Brazil, Thailand, Italy and Spain doesn't
substantiate a left wing plot.
The world is in terrible shape and there are no easy or guaranteed right
paths. Let's fix what we can and resolve never again to follow the plans
which brought us to the brink of economic and social extinction.

That's the problem Curly. These Bozos are just doing one thing, trying
to undermine Obama just like they did with Clinton. All they want is to
make his presidency seem like it accomplished nothing and that the
country should go back and put back republicans right where they were in
2005. In the driver's seat. It would be one thing if they had learned
their lesson from their gigantic mistakes. But you hear them all the
time saying the exact same things they said before. They learned nothing
and they want to try the same things that caused all our problems.
All they can really say about Obama is that he's spending too much money
and his economic stimulus and health care reforms won't work. They're
both a joke because they said Jack about the spending when it was Bush
and the republicans doing it. Only when Obama got in office did it
become an issue. Then on health care the republicans are blocking it in
the senate and at the same time berating Obama for not getting anything
done. If the republicans would get out of the way all kinds of progress
would be made. But their plan is to prevent any progress, paint Obama as
incapable of accomplishing anything, and fooling the public into putting
them back in power. The guys on the news group are just trying their
best to help them along. And that's the problem with them. The comedian
Ron White explained it perfectly, "You can't fix stupid".

Obama was tanking the economy one year ago. Yes we remember. You can't blame
last year on Bush any longer. I'm sure it was fun while it lasted.
