Realization About My Dog!

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her.
She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no
cost to her. She visits the doctor once a year for her checkup and again
during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing
and nothing is required of her.

She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she
needs but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess,
someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to
sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living
like a queen and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs
are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.

I was just thinking about all this and suddenly it hit me like a brick
in the head,

Holy S#!t, my dog is a democrat!
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the
means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not
making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of
it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different
countries, that the more public provisions were made for the
poor the less they provided for themselves, and of course became
poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the
more they did for themselves, and became richer." -- Benjamin

LOL Your dogs have more chance of visiting the moon than they do of
visiting the vet once a year.

Ohmygawd that's funny! So "nice" neighborhoods these days have
burned-down crack houses and run-down mobile homes that sell for less
than a new Kia?

Your dogs live in cages in the backyard. And are occasionally hung by
a choker chain, AKA, stupid human tricks.

You're earning a living every day now, huh? When did that start, and
why did you wait so long to try it?

Obvious to see where story was going ;)

I'm reminded of story in southern plant where a plant worker had a
hunting dog called, Foreman. Great dog who was always on his game so
worker decided to give him a higher title and called him, Supervisor.

Ruined the dog. All he did afterwords was sit on his ass and bark.

And it took you this long??

OTOH, when it becomes a "quality of life issue" as determined by
you, not her, like the Democrats, you can ease her transition along
the stages of life. And then again, you'll be picking up the tab for
the funeral.

SO NOT TRUE! Your dog doesn't spend all waking hours spewing hate, she
doesn't attempt to steal all your money and assets, she doesn't attempt to
overwhelm your household's structure with doggie social programs and
give-aways, she doesn't lie through his teeth to you at every opportunity,
she doesn't tell you what you can eat, drink or what to set the thermostat
to. She doesn't insist you send kibble and chew-toys to all the dogs in the
neighborhood. She's not in cahoots with all the other dogs to destroy your
way of life to achieve some doggie--socialist-Utopia that won't work anyway.
She doesn't concoct scams like Household Warming in order to control you
life and redistribute your assets to other dogs around the world. She isn't
insisting that you give doggie-abortions on demand. She doesn't demand
"Universal Free Vet Care" even though she doesn't pay the vet bill anyway.
She doesn't flame you behind your back or attack your family to all the
other doggies.

So, you are WAY off base! You have insulted every dog in the world! If all
Democrats were like dogs, we would live in a perfect, crimeless world of
abundance and prosperity. Give her a cookie and be thankful, if she WAS a
Democrat, would you be able to ever close you eyes with her in the house?

Would be nice if "quality of life" and "end of life" was
applied only to Dumbocrats. They seem to be the ones pushing

SO NOT TRUE! Your dog doesn't spend all
waking hours spewing hate, [against those who
have unfairly profitted, or have more than their
fair share.]

she doesn't attempt to steal [tax from you by
legislation] all your money and assets,

she doesn't attempt to overwhelm your household's
structure with doggie social programs and give-aways,

[nor does she prohibit the whap on the nose with the
rolled up news paper because it damages her self
esteem.]

she doesn't lie through his teeth to you at every
opportunity,

[About how this or that doggy program will save money.]

she doesn't tell you what you can eat, drink or what to
set the thermostat to.

[Probably set it herself, if she had opposable thumbs.]

She doesn't insist you send kibble and chew-toys to
all the dogs in the neighborhood.

[Especially the dogs that poop in your front yard.]

She's not in cahoots with all the other dogs to destroy
your way of life to achieve some doggie--socialist-
Utopia that won't work anyway.

[Except for her.]

She doesn't concoct scams like Household Warming
in order to control you life and redistribute your assets
to other dogs around the world.

[Assets like dog food.]

She isn't insisting that you give doggie-abortions on
demand.

[Nor doggie contraception.]

She doesn't demand "Universal Free Vet Care" even
though she doesn't pay the vet bill anyway.

[Nor demand free vet care for all the mutts and strays
who illegally jump over the fence into your yard.]

She doesn't flame you behind your back or attack
your family to all the other doggies.

[Except when the Sharpton's dog starts howling.]

So, you are WAY off base! You have insulted every
dog in the world! If all Democrats were like dogs, we
would live in a perfect, crimeless world of abundance
and prosperity.

[Because all bad dogs would be given free lawyers and
let out of the kennel.]

Give her a cookie and be thankful, if she WAS a
Democrat, would you be able to ever close you
eyes with her in the house?

[Without having your taxes raised?]

I wonder if any of them are able to parse the sentence "I wouldn't
want to live like that"? Seems they all interpret that as "If that
were to happen to me, kill me."
Meanwhile, I'm over in the "I wouldn't want to live like that, but
considering the alternative..." camp.

Sorry, but curly would have to know the difference.

Not to mention, totally ungermane. I'm sure that if he were

In one of his posts he claimed to be able to bench press 400 lbs. As I
said before, I workout in a gym a lot. You know how many people can
bench that much? Almost no one. But Gummer said he could. I've seen
pictures of him. He can't. At some point one should realize the guy is
just making up one bullshit story after another. But the old adage about
a sucker being born every minute is proven in rec.metalworking on a
daily basis. Of course, his believers are a group of right wing kooks
that never catch on that he's spinning tall tales. I do expect that
though from a group made up of yokels and suckers.
