Degussa sells two types of silver antitarnish baths. One is a dip, the
other an electrolytic process. It DEFINITELY keeps silver white, but it
is not very abrasion resistant. Your articles will NOT tarnish in the
showdase or on the shelf. If you need more details, write me at
nhw...@hotmail.com. Happy to give more info. I am the India
representative of Degussa, but the product (inexpensive!) is available
everywhere. Not a common item, though.

tell me more!!! i work with ALOT of sterling wire/findings/chain and the
tarnish problem drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the tarnish shield i
bought from rio grande doesn't seem to work well, especially if it's
jewelry that's already had to be cleaned prior to immersing in the
tarnish shield liquid, it seems to tarnish faster!
