I am looking for a jeweler who can engrave on black onyx and fill
the engraving with gold.

I want to put one word on a men's black onyx pinkie ring.

Any information will be greatly appreciated! Please email me at
ji...@epix.net.

Thanks!!!

email me the specifics, size of black onyx (usually dyed agate), the word
you wish to inlay. I can engrave the letters in (using my computer
operated mill and diamond bits) and cast letters that can be epoxied in
place. As far as inlaying gold into the onyx, I don't think that would
work.
By the way, I form the gold letters by filling the engraved spaces in the
stone with plastic, then casting the plastic (after removing it from the
stone). After the letters are epoxied, a simple lapping and rouging yields
good results.
