I don't know if I am in the "right" NG.
I just started glass painting a while ago, mostly acetate (for cards etc)
and painting bottles etc.
I would like to find out more about this craft, so any information/ideas or
where to find out more please let me know.

Hello, Mike--

Since the newsgroup is about glass, we could point you in the right
direction for painting on glass botles, but not on acetate. Many good art
supply stores can advise you as to what kinds of paints to use, you don't
need really technical knowledge for this.

My own experience of painting on glass is that you can use any oil-base
paint, any epoxy paint, and of course the special glass paints (such as
Deka, an American brand) that cost so much. Ask the art stores. Good luck.
