Artist Studio Tour – November 26-27
The Northern Chapter of Arizona Designers Craftsmen are gearing up for
their annual Artist Studio Tour.
Arizona Designer Craftsmen (ADC) is an association of Arizona craft
artists, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1959 by a group of dedicated
craft artists. Their goals include development of public awareness of high
quality craft work and future education in various fields in the art world.
Artists across the Prescott area are organizing to show the public what
they do and how they do it. Artists are also grouping together to make the
tour easier for the public and more fun to boot. Imagine a group of artists
creating and sharing their muse with one another as well as with you.
The tour will begin with a map of the area for ease of navigation. You
will be surprised by the shear number of resident artists in our area and
the magnitude of their medium.
Glass Art and Glass Bead Making as well as Lampworking have gone crazy in
Prescott. Where you look you see unique Glass Art. Above all mark out
that Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving to take the Studio Tour with
your family and guests. The tour will bring fun and excitement and offers a
chance to work off some of those Thanksgiving Turkey calories. The ADC
Artists are working to prepare for this event – so take advantage of this
