Hello,

I'm a glass painter absolutely new to the net, and I have a new web site:
http://www.BiggersGlassPainting.com I would like to talk with other
Glasspainters and offer my services to stained glass studios, other glass
artists, leaded window fabricators... All my work is custom kiln-fired
and hand painted - in any painting style and of any subject matter/genre.

Questions, SHARING, and INFORMATION below:

I would appreciate any additional sources for supplies. I'm happy with and
currently get paints from Jayne Houston's in CO. and Standard Ceramics. Got
any resource books? I'm currently looking for an out of print copy of:
Stained Glass Painting, by Isenberg, Isenberg and Millard.

ALSO, HERE'S SOME GREAT NEWS: The Art Of Glass Painting, by Albinas Elskus
is being reprinted and I "heard" it will be out in July. Sorry, no other
details. If you hear more please post. I highly recommend both of these
books, and would appreciate hearing of any others, thanks.

In re: to my web site listed above, Windy of Windy's Designs helped me and
is my server. If you need a reasonably priced server and designer (or
co-designer) Windy is the one! She offers EVERY price range. She's also got
freebies you can download - if you want to put together your own home page.
She's great with novices/rookies like me and offers superlative support.
She can be reached at email: wi...@windyweb.com or visit her site at :
www.windyweb.com She's great! Take a look at her gallery.

Anyone out there used or using silver stains? Wanna share your knowledge?
I have never worked in this medium.

Got any great quotes regarding ART and/or Stained Glass? Please share! I
have a page on my web site devoted exclusively to quotes. I'll be adding an
Elskus quote - after the newest publication of his book is out, ...but I
interested in anything that will inspire (or light up) ALL OF US that you
would like to share. Thanks. Take care & Namaste. ~ Will

Interesting to see your site Will. Thanks for sharing.
Our studio works quite often with traditional glass painting and stainers.
Would be interesting if someone else would write a book on glass painting.
Although Albinas Elskus book is the best one out there
I am surprised no one has been able to match it in information. Speaking of
Albinas. He will be at the Stained Glass Association of America's
conference this summer in Milwaukee.

my best,
pj
