Dollhouse lightkit wiring questions

My friend has a light kit which she wants installed in her doll house.
Seems like not many places (well, haven't found one yet) do that work
in our area. Called a few hobby\craft stores, but they do not. She's
not sure how hard she should look to get it done.

How hard is it for someone to do? What level of skill do you need and
can anyone tell me of the average price for this type of work? Is it
normally charged hourly or by the job?

Electric lighting looks wonderful in a dollhouse. Craft stores are full
of all sorts of styles of electric lighting for dollhouses, as this is a
very popular addition among dollhouse enthusiasts.
