Same problem... you start the thing, the light fraction boils off, then the
alcohol, then the heavy fraction.
With brandy, you will tend to get more light fraction and more interesting
flowery stuff in the light fraction than with grain.
This means that telling where the heads end and where the run begins is
sometimes very much a matter of taste.
