Do we have any U.K. woodcarvers subscribing to this ng.No offence to our
North American friends and others but it would be nice to hear from some
Brit carvers once in a while.
BTW I am a fairly novice carver from Henley on Thames who is trying to
specialise in carving fish.

Well here I am replying to my own mail:-) It would appear that there are
no uk woodcarvers on the net so it looks like all my questions will have
to be directed to you North American people!
Being pretty new to this game I am intrigued as to the use of power
tools in carving.I saw a lovely piece the other week that was carved
with a power tool but did not get a chance to ask the artist about how
it was done.Is there anywhere on the web that I can find out more about
power tool carving as it would certainly help me with some of the
intricate shapes I am experiencing in carving fish.Any help would be
appreciated.TIA
