Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive or double-click on the downloaded file.
The setup program will start automatically. If not, open the CD-ROM drive or the folder where you downloaded the file and double-click on Setup.exe.
Follow the instructions on the screen to select the language, destination folder and components to install.
When the installation is complete, click Finish.
To start FX-TRN-BEG-E software, follow these steps:
Click on Start menu and select All Programs.
Find Mitsubishi Electric Corporation folder and expand it.
Find FX-TRN-BEG-E folder and click on it.
Click on FX-TRN-BEG-E icon to launch the software.
How to create a new project and select a PLC model
When you start FX-TRN-BEG-E software for the first time, you will see a welcome screen that gives you some options. You can choose to open an existing project, create a new project or view some sample projects. To create a new project, follow these steps:
Click on New Project button on the welcome screen.
A dialog box will appear that asks you to enter a project name and a description. You can enter any name and description you like or leave them blank. Click OK.
A new window will appear that asks you to select a PLC model. You can choose from various models of FX3U series PLC, such as FX3U-16M, FX3U-32M, FX3U-48M, etc. You can also select the number of inputs and outputs for each model. Click OK.
Your new project will be created and opened in the main window of FX-TRN-BEG-E software.
