Has our 96/97 winter program been cool, or what?

Last month's theme was "Plains Indian Beadwork". Arni Brownstone (Asst Curator, Royal Ontario Museum) brought
tons of slides and Cam Edmonds brought some interesting pieces from Stewart Scriver's (Courage My Love)
personal collection. We were so engrossed that the housekeeping staff had to finally throw us out of the room!

The March meeing will be another great one:

Our presenter is Shelly Fowler who is a textile artist who uses beads, painted objects, etc, as embellishments,
usually on purses and bags. She will be showing slides and bringing finished pieces.

The presentations by working artists are my personal favorites: the questions and ideas just flow and you can
feel a frisson of inspiration in the air.

We look forward to seeing you on:

Wednesday, March 5th
7:00 PM

We meet at:

The Toronto Board of Education Building
155 College Street West (1 block west of University, at McCaul)
Room 252

And finally, we *welcome* visitors.
(Non-members will be asked to donate $3.00.)

If you have any questions, call Pat at (416) 921-8534.
Or e-mail inquiries to Sharon at sha...@ica.net

See you there ;-)
