I know it's on the Links List, and it's Barbara's sig line, but I want to make
sure everyone goes there and LOOKS. I'd been there before (or else it wouldn't
be on the List), but I just went there again -- Barbara, I had NO idea you were
Dreamweaver Studios!!!!! Before we cancelled the big-circus wedding, we'd
planned to buy our toasting goblets from you because we were so utterly
overwhelmed by their beauty. (Still planning to buy one of these days....)

I agree-- I'd been to her site about two years ago --her work is
FANTASTIC!!!... and I know what a pain silver work can be (took ONE college
course in it - and that was plenty- THANKS).

Give me lampwork anyday -- instant fulfillment! LOL

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words.
I'm also sorry you canceled your big-circus wedding!
Could have used the $ to pay all the Dr. bills..........

You should see the goblets that are still in my head clambering
to get out......
I will be in Chicago next weekend doing Northbrook
(God I hope it's a good show. The booth fee was high
enough) if anyone lives up that way and wants to say
"Hi".

A human being should be able to change a diaper,
plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship,
design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts,
build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take
orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations,
analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer,
cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects.

All I can think is that it's beaded, has a cape, and hangs from the ceiling.
You would not want your mother (or heaven forbid, HIS mother) to ever know
about it. Those "heh, heh, heh"s just make the _filthiest_ thoughts appear
in my mind.

Yes, I'm a perv. No, I have no idea what it is, but I'd bet it's good.

Yeah Barb - Northbrook is the "high priced" side of town..... they have money
to burn!
Hope you do really well at the show.

Don't be sorry, we're so happy we're eloping instead of burning cash for a
one-day extravaganza. It'll leave more dough to buy your work
eventually......so it may work in your favor. Eventually.
