Hi everyone!!
I just joined. I have just created my own website and am selling my
handmade jewelry made from lampwork beads.

I was wondering if anyone knows of sites I may add a link to?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Darla - why don't you post your webpage so we can get an idea
of where your site might fit?

Also, if you do have time to check my site out. I was wondering if my
pricing is too low. I use sterling silver findings, good beading wire,
and handmade lampwork beads.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Darla

Darla,
Your pieces are beautiful. Nice job. I don't really know about the pricing.
It seems fair to me, the quality is nice...............

Carol,

Thank you so much for your support. It is hard just starting out.
You are most kind. I do intend to try to improve my website as I learn
more.
I so love making jewelry and wish I could do it all day everyday.
Thanks again.

I'd suggest rewriting all your copy. It makes you sound like an
amateur -- the urging from your family, the buying right off their
wrists.....

You need to approach it as a professional, and if you did, those things
would be a given. They wouldn't need mentioning. Talk about the
product, what making jewelry means to you, whose beads you buy -- not
what your husband and parents and siblings think about your stuff.

Do some research on others who sell similar jewelry -- instead of
asking us. We are your COMPETITION. Do you understand that?

But the beads are Chinese, so maybe it's reasonable?

At least, the lampwork in the gallery bracelets was Chinese... nothing
wrong with that, but they are probably priced accordingly.
