Direct from Calgary's "The Daisy Theatre" we are pleased to present Zelda,
everyone's favourite fairy godmother. Created, built, dressed and
operated by master puppeteer Ronnie Burkett ("Awful Manners" & "Tinka's New
Dress" 1-man shows), Zelda has appeared only once, in a 1994 benefit
performance.
In 1995 Mr. Burkett was performing "Tinka's New Dress" at the National
Arts Centre in Ottawa. He was asked to do an 11:00 p.m. benefit show
followed by an auction and Zelda made one last stage appearance as the
last item auctioned.
Zelda has been a wonderful fairy godmother for us at Celebrities Gallery.
Now it is time she moved on to grace the home of someone else. Zelda comes
with a ticket stub to the Dec 1 performance and a certificate of
authenticity from our gallery. Zelda is truly a fine one-of-kind work of
art, complete with an amazing control device that works her strings.
The asking price for this very magicial fairy is $1,250.00 U.S. which
includes postage and insurance.
Thank you for your interest.
