I think Efnet is the typical international Chat network (i.e., its
probably the default on many chat programs as distinguished from local
chat rooms, like AOL's) --not sure how you access from Netscape since I
thought Netscape was primarily a web browser and newsreader. Does your
straight Internet Provider have IRC chat--it so, just use that and I
wouldn't worry so much about the EFnet part. In Netcom Netcruiser,
which Denise uses, we have to click on EFNet--but for most Internet
Chat, you probably don't have to. Just type in the channel #Villagers
(I actually did this as an experiment last night, but of course, I was
the only one there!!). I know both of my Internet providers access the
EFNet as part of their regular IRC chat channels. I experimented last
night--looking forward to it.
