The Israeli artist Yaacov Agam (born 1928) has not only been honoured with a
stamp, but also with an important work of art in Parisian Public Room: the
fountain in front of La Grande Arche in Paris La Défense. Read more about

In my personal opinion a great stamp (and not only speaking about the large
format!) that fully reflects the design of the fountain.

His work has been on Israeli stamps, like the Independence Day issue of
1983.
