Help needed on Chinese Art

A collector friend has recently sent me a very nice Chinese art
sheet.

It seems to be issued in 2001 (see the lower right corner), but I
am not sure. All my catalogues stop at 2000, so I am pretty lost.
I'd like to know what it shows, when it was issued, who was the
artist, and when was the original work made ?

Quite a bunch of questions ...

In 1994, not 2001. "001" is the "serial" number the "maker" made such
"sheet".

It shows an ancient Chinese painting called "Spring Out" by famous ancient
Chinese painter Zhang Xuan in Tang Dynasty.

Generally speaking, I am afraid this could not be called souvenir sheet or
something philatelic which stamp catalogue do not list. There are a great
deal of this kind items. They are usually "published" by local organization
(but not authorized by official stamp issuer - China Post) in some occasion
for commemorating something or "tricking" junior collectors to draw more
money from their pocket or just for amusing etc. This one seems to be
published by a bookman in Sheng Yang City, northeast China. There are so
many of these here. I don't know if it is the same in other country.
