“22 year old girl” scam letter offers photographs from sender using a
single female name. Most use hotmail as their free mailbox of choice,
and most are probably run by the same (somewhat stupid) person. HOW
YOU CAN HELP: Create a throw-away Hotmail address and write to one or
more of these “young ladies.” In time, they will come up with some
excuse or other to request money of you. Keep writing while politely
ignoring their requests for money. Keep the owner of these mailboxes
busy – every minute they respond to YOU, they can't be conning some
