Why is the 24k gold 1/4 oz American Buffalo cheaper than the 22k 1/4oz

Who knows why there is a $6 price difference....but keep in mind that
despite the purity of the coins, they both contain a full 1/4 ounce of
gold.

Perhaps it's because the Eagle at 22k also contains silver in it's
alloy, making the planchets more expensive to produce.
