Coin Design Board

On the World of Coins forum, we've recently rearranged our Coin Design
board into sub-boards:

1] Unrealised designs. These designs were meant for coins, but not
used. Images and discussions of official sketches, plasters, patterns
and trials for mints and governments. It was a poster here on RCC who
a few years ago alerted me to the fact that the National Archives,
London, which is practically on my doorstep, holds untold treasures in
the form of old documents from the Royal Mint. Over the years, I have
made many photocopies of images of unadopted coin designs, intended
for many different countries, scanned them, and posted them on the
World of Coins forum. They are there for everyone to share. If you
want to copy the images and post them on your own web site, go right

2] Coin designers. The artists behind the designs. Short biographies
of designers, with illustrations of their work. It's sometimes
surprising to see the scope of a numismatic artist's work. Have a look

3] Members' designs. This is a sub-board where forum members can post
their own creations of the coins they'd like to see. We have one
talented Italian member in particular, skilled in graphic design, who
