I can recommend Michael Aron, an old friend who I've done a lot of
business with over the years. He runs auctions periodically, and also
buys and sells. I think you'll find him to be friendly and very fair.
If you contact him, tell him I said hi.

If you don't mind shipping your coins, some of the most honest guys I
have dealt with are Scotsman Coins in St. Louis. They also run
auctions at several midwest shows, and auctions these days can usually
enhance the amount of $$$ that you can get for your coins, especially
if you have rare dates or high grade coins.
You might want to give them a call at 1-800-642-4305 and tell them what
you have.
Very reputable dealer.

If the collection is valuable enough, it would be a good idea to talk to Ira
Goldberg. The Goldbergs run one of the most successful numismatic auction
businesses, and they have been getting incredible bids in their auctions. In
the last auction I attended I saw coins sell for FIVE TIMES the estimated
price, estimates that were fair based on previous sales.
If there are any ancients in the collection, I would be glad to help if I
can.
