Whilst it may or may not be related to eBay's recent ban on ICG and
ANACS as approved grading services, PCGS coins
have become the target of anonymous netcops on eBay, where BASED ON A
PHOTO, eBay has been
removing listings for coins reported as being "artificially toned
monstrosities" by members of a mysterious
eBay unlisted group called "Coin Community Watch"

A couple of eBay users -- Lapidary2 and Too_Toot seem behind this,
and apparently are "spies"
on the PCGS Forum.

PCGS are furious and have been sending missives to its dealer network
while mentioning absolutely
nothing on their own forum board.

The eBay Coins Community Watch program has been around since 2004.

It's neither mysterious nor unlisted ... Here's the announcement:

(since expired from eBay archives), and VAMWORLD discussed it in 2011.

Please post copies of the missives PCGS has been sending. I'd love to
see what they are saying about this ...
