I am looling for Maria Theresa thalers at a reasonable price. Every time I see
mention of them, the writer comments their worth is about that of their silver
content. Most places I contact either do not have any in stock, have only a
few, or have the RARE 1780 BU hand-me-your-wallet pieces. I would like about
20. If any body can tell me where I can get, these in the US, please post, or
email me at e.r....@mailexcite.spam.com. Please leave out the spam.
Thank you,

Gene Mohr

I see them auctioned off all the time on eBay (www.ebay.com).

I see an ad from Robert Charles Coin Company (1-800-293-9008) selling them
for $6.99 each.
And I'm amazed you've actually seen a hand-me-your wallet piece. I don't
think I've ever seen an original, except in an Austrian museum. Sure it
wasn't the restrike?

They are not too uncommon over in the UK.

Yes, every likelyhood. If dated 1780x however, still not going to allow any
early retirement
