I couldn't find anything like the PCGS verification database for NGC
slabs -- any links?

Thanks!

NGC doesn't provide this service on their website. You may be able to get them
to verify by phone.

Tom

Thanks, Tom -- I guess this isn't too practical for eBay auctions,
though. Would be nice if they could set up their website to do it.
Assuming they have all the numbers in a database, it would be such a
simple query.

I never bid on a slabbed coin unless I can verify the number online.
There have been faked PCGS holders and, I am sure, NGC holders as
well.

NGC does offer coin # lookups, but you have to be a paying member of their
Collectors Society.

NGC also shares that data with eBay for auction listing. So you can get
that data by downloading eBay's TurboLister. Create an new auction and then
put in the NGC cert #. Turbo Lister will then pull all the Coin data from
eBay's database.
