What appears to be a 1969 D gold penny?

I was just rummaging through garbage, cleaning up the house and such
and i came across a gold like 1969 D penny... anything particularly
interesting with that?

Maybe someone use a heat gun and melted gold foil on it?

Maybe the 1969 penny was sold in connection with the moon landing? If
you can find any paperwork or a COA that came with it then it might
have some value over 1 cent, but probably not much.
