Yankee Doodle stuck a feather in his cap and called it maccaroni, but that
didn't make it so.

PCGS is not Yankee Doodle .. lucky fellow to have such a coin .. I couldn't
afford it.

I'd be just as happy with a MS67, or maybe even a high-end MS65. To each
his own.

And I'll betcha a dollar to a drachma that I could find flaws even on that
MS70.

And who would you guess might have rushed to spread this breaking news, PCGS
or that collector from Georgia? I still believe that anything that is
produced by the Mint with this much care should rate at least an MS69 or
should be returned.

If only more had your wisdom but I fear that too many will be foolish enough
to pay mega bucks for a "perfect" coin.

I agree that any of these coins that grade below MS69 are indeed faulty and
should be returned for one that's not. Billy

Well, wisdom is not among the things I've been accused of having lately.
But I do view super grading and slabbing of bullion coins to be a "king's
new clothes" issue. Obviously, enough disagree to make it worthwhile for
secondary-marketers.

From now on you will be known as Bruce The Wise. :-)

Perhaps we can come up with a term for those that pay mega bucks for
"perfect" coins, perfecteers, MS70ers, or we could stick to the traditional
name, suckers? Billy

Call them what you will, but I don't remember Frank ever hawking MS70
material or anything of the sort. I could be wrong, of course.

I call anything that is asinine, annoying or inane a "Fwankie".
Just seems to fit, that's all!
