Fake Trade Dollar in Fake PCGS Slab brings $1,130.11 on eBay

I reported this, but the auction continued, and I was shocked to see
it sell at $1,130.11. And the auction is private, so no one can ever
notify the buyer. Just one bad experience like this will sour people's
taste for PCGS slabs. Companies like Gucci and Rolex, under the VERO
trademark program, are given tools to kill auctions without going
through eBay. (So-called administrator rights) These companies are
constantly looking through eBay auctions to kill auctions of fake
products. If the grading companies are not proactive in policing the
marketplace, Ebay certainly won't do it. The grading companies risk a
loss of confidence that may ultimately destroy or greatly diminish
their value to the marketplace.

The genuine coin was sold through Heritage in 2006 and the buyer still
has it.

Heritage and Teletrade past auctions are used by Chinese crooks to
find genuine serial numbers that
match the date and mintmark of the fake.
